This app will find the best subweapons to deal the most damage for either main hand or off hand.
1. Require Main Hand and Off Hand to be selected.
2. Items on blacklist will not be used as part of the simulation. You can quickly add all events to blacklist for a faster sim by choosing "Event weapons" under Blacklist tab.
3. The more subweapons you select, the faster the sim will run. Finding all 3 subweapons takes about 5 mins. Finding 2 weapons takes less than 1 min. If you already know one weapon you will use, select the weapon for a faster run. You can also select all the subweapons and the sim will output the damage it calculates. Then you can run with another set of subweapons. This usage is to compare one build against another.
4. User file format: 2 ways. 1st method (Recommended): Use json file generated from EC Materia Framework under Settings+->Save Account Data On Next Login. This means you do not have to keep track of your inventory manually. Also, if you use this file, brands will also be used in the calculation, so if 2 weapons give you the same R, one used to have less stats could possibly have more now and become BIS. 2nd method: csv file. Use google spreadsheet to create the file. Format should look like this Example File
Level: The current level of the weapon.
OB: The current OB of the weapon (max 10). Extra OB: OB10+x (not used).
Sim: "N" if you do not want to equip this weapon (similar to Blacklist).
You can make a copy of this sample file and change OBs and levels of each weapon to match your own inventory.
After you're done adding items from your own inventory, click File -> Download -> Comma Separated Values (.csv).
You can then use this file as the input file if desired. This file is not required. If no file, the simulator will assume all weapons are OB10 and level 110.
Note: Don't click away from this page. If you change to another tab, sim will stop running due to browser setting to not allow apps to run in the background. To avoid this, you can go to chrome://discards/ and look for the tab title you want to keep active, then click on 'Toggle' under 'Auto Discardable'. Tick mark should change it to x mark.
